Decisions on how this would happen would also be done via public input and committees across Canada.
Democracy is only possible if those utilizing it are educated on how it works, how their government works, how their parliamentary system works, etc.
We recommend you read the book "Power Shift: From Party Elites to Informed Citizens" by Vaughan Lyon
This book is a blueprint on how to make all this work with Citizen Committees in every riding across Canada. This is something we've discussed several times as needed, and what we've been asking people to join and build, as signatures grow.

If the past 2 years have taught us anything it should be that we, as the Collective Citizens and Indigenous People of Canada, can no longer just "sit back" and let others make decisions for us...we need to be informed, educated and involved in our own government in order to self-determine what governance is best for us.
The main point is, for the first time, Citizens and Indigenous People will be actively involved in our own self-determination and governance...365 days a year. Elections will not take our individual or collective right to this away until the next election.
I'm not sure 51% majority rules is the best way forward. You can see in our current situation how easy it is to manipulate the general population by twisting facts and headlines in the media.
How can you guarantee that the government won't simply sign our country over to China or the WHO simply by doing what they are doing now with this pandemic? All with the help of just 51%.
